I've had a lot of days off recently.
Tuesday thru Friday and then today (Sunday) for the sake of a mini vacation. I arranged for my 2 weekends to run together plus an extra day off in there kind of, and one day of work on Saturday.
Friends from back home (indy) K and his pops came to play around on the town.
We've been all over town and then some. See S's blog for the wheres and whens. Money lost and spent and time flew. But it was all a good time!
We were all around town today. When it was dinner time (9pm-ish) and we were all getting hungry we had plans to go to Hard Rock's Pink Taco for Mexican food, but things weren't seeming to go well there even just while waiting for a table. So we attempted to go to Sammy's Woodfired Pizza, but they were closed already by the time we got there. So we headed toward Sunset Station, where there's a Hooters, but as soon as we got in the parking lot K protested. So I convinced them we were going to Black Angus, where K ordered Buffalo Chicken (!) which he coulda got at Hooters(!).
They are going home tomorrow, and I go back to work for an unknown amount of days in a row.
K said he would come back in about 6 months to go see Elton John with me, coz S won't do it. I had a good time with them here and will miss them.
On a side note, complete inspiration brought on something...
