Weird Wednesday

I can tell it is the beginning of March Madness, we were busy enough for a wednesday, which I normally stare into space waiting for players. Thankfully there are TVs everywhere now.
Well I had games all day, Only dead time was for a few minutes on roulette. Mostly I had 3-card Poker today also Texas Hold'em Bonus, and for 1 down I had the 8 deck shoe for Blackjack.
On 3-Card I gave a nice lady from Ohio a straight flush, 235.00 pay out, she was betting minimums. And she gave me 25.00 :)
I went to pay her in green as my floorman requested but the player asked for black so I cut out 2 black and and called it out. When black goes out- you have to call it out ot the floorpersons. He has to keep track. He looked at me with disapproval, but gave me the OK. I told him it was players request, which it is better to please the player, especially who gives you a tip.

Also today, we had a floorperson standing for graveyard from the Flamingo, He is actually the ACM (Assistant Casino Manager) dual rate who steps in floor when there are needs for it. Today we needed him. Our regular floorthe ACM is pretty cool, and I like when he stands floor for us, this is the 2nd time since I've been on this shift. So the schedule is not done yet, tho I noticed I was still not on the swing shift schedule yet. I noticed someone started our schedule, and in this I saw I was scheduled for my 1st time to deal at the Flamingo as stand in, next wednesday...in 21. I am looking forward to this, I wonder if this will help me get next door. At least it will get me warmed up for it, when ever it may occur.

Taked to a friend who went transfered to the over to the Flamingo last round, asked him what should I do about getting dice-time in over there if I get a transfer as I do not want to be stiffed with blackjack and lose my dice skills. He gave me a great answer. ASK FOR IT, but to the scheduler in charge.

On a non-work related topic, when I got home from work I had to get Lexi to her vet for removal of her stitches. She did well, very patient with her vet, who is very good with her. He told her she did so good he gave her a buncha treats. I got to hold her while he did it. I brought up her changed eating habits, its not likely her appetite keeping her from eating but her depth perception, she doesn't know how close it is, but when she gets hungy enough her nose will take her to it. Doc said not to worry.

Thats it, I am off to bed!
