BC: Before Christ...Before Jesus

Did I ever bitch about our old shift manager,Jesus (en español)? He's a real pain in the Arse.

Well over Super Bowl weekend he spent a lot of time back in our faces.
He's such a micro-manager and nit-pick! Things are so much better without him. He chases off customers, and the wrong ones, too!

Well I made a cocky comment when he left the floor Sunday, "Life was so much better BC!" and the dead-game standing dice crew and box-man cracked up a bit. Then I looking toward the direction Jesus went and said "We don't need no stinking religion over here!"

On a side-note on Super Bowl Sunday... at least for our shift it was ridiculous. slow and lifeless. Was everyone out making last minute bets before the game? O'Shits didn't open the mini Sportsbook this year for the game either! I think we did pretty good for the Friday and Saturday right before the game but i don't think we matched the last 3 years of tokes for Sunday this year. I will let you know Thursday when I go back and check the paperwork.

Otherwise I am almost glad the season is over. But I will miss getting to wear an NFL jersey on Sundays.

Rumor has it we should get new uniforms soon. Can't wait! but will believe it when I see it. The pink chicken got their hideous new uniforms... White shirts with tuxedo pleats,, but they are rayon shirts mind you! Hot pink trim and hot pink embroidered flamingos down the button strip. And if you happen to be female you get DARTS! Even if you don't have the figure for it, which I have seen as not-so-attractive. And because they are white rayon, you can pretty much see thru them; man or woman, we don't want to see that! The men need pasties now!

This shirt is just another reason for me to NOT wanna go there to work, as a dealer!
