I have been on the hunt with mother-in-law in tow for a suitable house for rent here.
We are looking for a house with a fenced in yard for the dogs, landlords that welcome the dogs, with in driving distance for our new place of work... BUFFALO THUNDER RESORT.
I have 3 really good prospects, I am going to send in my rental applications tomorrow ( Fax of course) and hope to hear by monday one is a deal.
The management from my new employer has put me up in their other/older hotel 2 miles up the road. It is a pretty nice hotel, and I was lucky to get a room, as it is Indian Market this week. Lots of tourists and rooms are filled up everywhere!
we are driving the jeep around but we do have the top on, but we have rolled ( for lack up better word) the windows down and get a nice breeze all day thru the car, and i am getting a lovely farmers tan on my left arm LOL. wish i had a set of matching arms LOL...
We have a collection of local interest magazines, pamphlets and papers for learning what is where and what to do, and there is a lot for this little town!
Monday I go to the casino here at Cities of Gold to meet up with the scheduling and HR for my drug testing and mew hire paperwork. I heard it took a few hours. I am already promised 40 hours/full time and looks as though I have my choice of hours. I am pretty open to that though. I have don't all shifts in casinos and can handle it busy or slow either way, it is a 24 hr tip split like i am used to so i will make the same as joe bloe in tips. but i did hear 2 different thing about dice dealers' hourly rage, 1st was told one rate, then someone else said that was wrong and it was actually about 3.00 more. so i have yet to verify this. but the casino is beautiful, the managers have a great attitude towards my and can not wait for me to start. I told one i was his new "SEVEN-OUT QUEEN" and he said to get to work because needed someone like me / ME. :)
I am going to discuss my fast-track to box-person or supervisor position. I want to to be fast, esp if i can get some good dealers to follow me here. I have 2 or 3 who want to follow me, so i will be getting the info on employee referrals ASAP also! would love to get a bonus for that!
Well thats a start for my SF adventure.

And the players like to think their tokes are buying them good karma and will cause the dealer to wind up costing the house money by making the players rich. Ah well, we all know that in reality the dice do not have any ears with which to hear our requested numbers.
As to the tourquoise, its real big in Santa Fe but I understand that alot of it is some sort of artificially processed stuff.
Great to see you back i have missed your stories. This new adventure should make for some great stories.

turquoise, love it, dont buy much jewelry items anyway, and haven't bought any here :)
i got to write a new story its been a few days and i have been so busy then tired and not getting good connection with the laptop. so keep your eyes peels will try to get it going tonight! now that kitchen table is set up and kitchen is best reception in the house for the wireless!
